Live Roleplay by BORG
Eternal Service
(Concept and design by Trond Nilsen, additional designers, Stephen Murray, Nick Adams, Hamish Cameron).

Compare the lives of these people; Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Elvis Presley, Napoleon Bonaparte, Aristotle, Zheng He, Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and Gilgamesh.

Each led a life that was impressive in some way, yet all of them have shared the same fate; death. Every religion across the globe has its own theory on where people go when they die, and every one of them is wrong.

In death, as in life, one must be productive to sustain their life's substitute in mortis. But with the billions of lives that have passed, surely almost any conceivable task worth achieving must already have been. Sysiphian labours aside, only one class of tasks remains...

Welcome to the Central Bureau of Celestial Services. A pseudo corporate body of vast proportion, its mission statement includes such exemplary goals as 'achieving parity with the future today', 'teamwork' and 'maintaining fundamental core principles in the face of a dynamic environment'.

In death, all are provided with the opportunity for a fruitful and productive afterlife, through loyal service in the CBCS. Not all are up to the challenges of such responsibility. As for those above, the real thing they have in common, far beyond anything they did in their lives, is an illustrious track record of achievement in the CBCS.

Pre-registration essential for Guaranteed inclusion

Grand Strategy
TAU CETI
Design by Tim Oliver and Kirk Milligan

The great starship has landed for the first and last time, and the colonists are waking from their long sleep. Tau Ceti II is your new home forever, wide open for the claiming. But have you really escaped the byzantine politics and economic ties of Earth? A large-scale diplomatic/conquest game for 15-40 players.

Limited spaces. Pre-registration essential. More details here.

Auction of Games

The SAGA Inc comittee has decided to clean out the lockers. As in, actually getting rid of stuff which hasn't been borrowed and played in many a year. In the interests of seeing that our old games go to good homes we will be auctioning them off at Buckets of Dice 2003. The time hasn't been confirmed, but will probably be on the Saturday.
