Hey folks. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped out at SAN-Con 2011. We got a truly overwhelming influx of new folks who were interested in trying out board gaming and roleplaying, and our evening events were a hit with the crowd too. Extra-special thanks to Mutu, Keegan and Sam for running events in the RP room, and Kane and his team for keeping the board gaming going in the adjacent room. Congratulations also to Max de Lu, our 2011 SAN-Con Sagefight Melee Champion, and to Ian Raymond, our 2011 SAN-Con Sagefight Duel Champion.
The event itself was a rousing success – we had a great turnout and the board-gaming room was full to capacity most of the time. Thanks go out to Jennifer DuBois and the Sci-Fi Society for letting us be a part of the event.
Quite a few folks were interested in joining up too, so expect some new faces at the next few regular SAGA Inc. meetings. If you’re looking to start a game, now’s a good time to start advertising – don’t forget that we have that newly-revamped campaigns page that could do with some love, so if you want to start something in particular, send me the details.
